"As a parent, finding the right daycare is one of the scariest/biggest decisions to make. I enrolled my son into LKELC at age 2. After visiting a couple of other centers, I knew right away that this was the best choice. On my son's first day, he cried when I dropped him off, which I expected. After thinking it would take a couple of days to get comfortable, the next day, he went straight to Ms. Penny and laid his head on her shoulder. "My children have been attending LKELC since 2017, and I have yet to be disappointed. Ms. Penny has exceeded my expectations with the nurture, care, and education she provides my children. My children would come home and show me what they learned. One thing she always told me was, "Your children will tell you if I'm doing my job." Honestly, that was one of the most reassuring things I'd heard as a new parent who was skeptical about childcare. One of this center's concepts is to encourage children to have a love for learning, and my 3-year-old comes home and says, "Mom, I'm ready to learn." "From day one, we were greeted with so much love and politeness; I knew that this is where my son was meant to be. Ms. Penny has always been so passionate about the kids in her program. I really like how she listens to them and actually cares about what they are telling her. I couldn't be happier with my son's progress since joining this program. Sure enough, the crying stopped, and now my son is excited every single morning for school! Every month a newsletter is sent out of what will be happening during the month with the kids. She keeps us in the loop, and I love it. It makes me feel secure as a parent."

"This center is different from others by being transparent through daily reports, oral and written. With multiple ages, the environment is set for all to interact together. This helps younger toddlers grow and develop more based on the surroundings of more developed kids. My kids come home and love to talk about the stories and want to read more and more every day. They also want to teach me about the activities they learned. I can tell the teachers care about the students' progress and keep track for parents."
