• Arrival/Dismissal/Free Choice children may choose activities in the classroom.

• Large Group/Stories: Children are invited to participate in group activities and stories. Children who do not want to participate can choose a quiet activity.

• Special Activities are planned by the teacher and guided by the child’s interests. Examples include painting with fall colors, using glitter, or stringing beads. 

• Individualizations/Small Groups: are for each individual child. The child is given the opportunity to work on a skill or skills individually with a teacher.

• Music and Movement: The teachers and the children are engaged in dancing and singing.

• Indoor/Outdoor Play: Activities children choose different large motor activities encouraging growth and development as well as relationships with their peers. 

• Cooking Class: Every week, children engage in different cooking activities to strengthen their simple math skills.

• Gardening: Every week ch,ildren learn to plant and grow fruits, vegetables an,d herbs.
